Two words: free donuts.
On Monday Apr. 8 from 9a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Parks Info Center, the ASB Senate is welcoming backstudents for spring quarter with free donuts!
ChristinaSchultz, Vice President of Public Relations, is putting together the event.
“One of the Senate committees is called Student Involvement. The purpose of the event is to get our faces out there so studentsknow who are representing them,” said Schultzover the phone.
“There will be a surveyat the table to ask students how they want to get their information aboutevents happening on campus. We are also going to have a laptop at the table totalk to students about using their student e-mail accounts,” added Schultz.
The student governmenthas talked about using text messaging for important campus updates. The surveywill include questions to find out if this is something students are interestedin.
“The event will last aslong as we have donuts!” said Schultz. Get there as soon as you can to meet andgreet our student body, answer a few questions about communication, and getyour free donut - there will be about a hundred!
